Blizzard Beach

Disney legend has it that after a freak winter storm blanketed the area with snow, Florida's first ski resort was born. Golf Courses

Legends Golf & Country Club

This beautifully manicured 18 hole course is a test of any golfer's skills, at a par 72 with Slope Rating of 130 and a course Rating of 72.9.

Legends is a high bluff-low valley course that takes full advantage of an undulating and relatively treeless landscape. This new Lloyd Clifton designed course opened in winter of 2001. It is located on Orlando's west side, 3 miles south of Clermont on US Hwy. 27.

Selected in the January issue of Florida Golf Central Magazine as Number 1 in the list of Top Ten Golf Courses in Central Florida for 2002, this course is destined to continue to be recognized as one of Florida's finest courses. In a recent issue of Lihn's Orlando Golf Guide, Legends was described as "Featuring vertiginous elevations, cinemascopic horizons and breathtaking views, this handsome addition will definitely elevate your spirits".

Lake Louisa State Park

For the second time in five years, Florida State Parks was recognized with the National Gold Medal Award for excellence in Recreation Management from the National Recreation and Park Association. This award is especially significant because it marks the first time a state park system received the recognition twice.

Lake Kissimmee State Park

Welcome to Lake Kissimmee State Park. All of our hiking and horseback trails are now back open for visitors to enjoy. The new fishing docks are in place and can be used by fishermen & boaters. Fishing is better than usual this time of the year. Come visit our living history site the 1876 Cow Camp and step back into time. This site still remains popular with our visitors and is open on weekends and holidays.
